Our Mission

M.A.D.E - Mixed Ability Dance Ensemble has its base in Denmark but works with artists

from all over the world depending on what is relevant for the specific projects.

We work with a varied group of people who all can contribute with something interesting and

relevant for the specific project. The group consists of both disabled and non-disabled artists -

preferably as wide a range as possible.

We will aspire to push boundaries - this is meant both in a physical, creative as well as

intellectual way. We will put a lot of effort into exploring the unknown and seeing how far

we can push the boundaries.

M.A.D.E wishes to use contemporary dance and physical theatre as a medium to address

agendas in society. We want to put things into a different perspective and to some extend put

a mirror up in front of the society and we aspire to give reason to reflection.

Furthermore, we want to challenge the perceptions about what dance is and who can dance.

We continuously work beyond difference and towards inclusion -

we encourage the society to do the same.
